Jen and Kyle are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet! From the moment I met them, I just knew we’d get along and I am super grateful they chose me to be their wedding photographer.

Usually my first meetings with potential clients are in a coffee shop or over the phone, but Jen and Kyle had me over to their home instead, which I really loved! I got to know them SO much better right from the start AND I got to meet their sphynx cat, Olive!

We started their wedding day with the First Look in the lobby of the Matrix Hotel, where Jen was getting ready. After that, we drove over to the Neon Sign Museum, then a secret spot I love downtown! We had a bit of time before guests would be arriving for the streetcar, so we snuck into El Cortez to grab a couple of shots (photos for me, drinks for the bride & groom)! Hahaha (see what I did there?).

Jen and Kyle chose the streetcar for their ceremony because it’s a historic piece of Edmonton and the sun was LITERALLY SETTING IN THE BACKGROUND as they said their “I Do’s” – how beautiful is that?!

I hope these images inspire you to consider an intimate wedding!
